It was back in 2002 or 2003 when I purchase a copy of The Silent Sales machine on eBay. It was a real eye opener for me and it helped shape my approach to eBay selling. Of course since those days many things have changed both on eBay and the Internet in general. The Silent Sales Machines author Jim Cockrum has updated his e-book on 6 occasions and he has now produced the latest 7^th edition.

This version of the Silent Sales Machine is full of good down to earth common sense. Jim still advocates using eBay as a major part of your marketing system, but also shows how

you can diversify and expand your efforts. This is a policy that I have favoured for the last couple of years and in Silent Sales Machine Jim suggests the steps should be taken to build a successful online business.

In the 8 chapters Jim covers how to set up Internet based income streams and discusses the tools and skills that are needed  to ensure Internet marketing success. There are currently many tools available that can be used to develop an online business. Many of these tools are discussed in this seventh edition. Amongst the ones discussed in the Silent Sales Machine are email and videos and he demonstrates how these can be best used. . Jim also looks at the tools that eBay offer sellers and explains why he thinks the majority of sellers fail to use these effectively. The Silent Sales machine not only covers eBay but looks at Amazon.com and Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA).

Up until a few years ago it was expensive to outsource many of the jobs involved in Internet Marketing but Jim discusses the low cost options for outsourcing which are currently available for the online marketer.

 

I had the pleasure of meeting Jim Cockrum at eBay Live in Boston back in 2007 and he impressed me as a very straight and honest guy. Therefore I was not surprised to discover that he is offering this 127 page book for less than the cost of a pint of beer. (That really depends upon the current exchange rate and the price of beer where you live!) The actual price is just $5 (£3.22) and it is  worth every penny.

 

To sum up, if you are serious about starting or building up an Internet Marketing business then forget all the high cost courses and books get a copy of Silent Sales Machine .You will not regret it.
