This website has been promoting and providing advice and information on online auction sites since March1993. For all of that time eBay has been the main player capturing around 95% of the market. Many individuals and small businesses jumped on the bandwagon and as a result some people made a great deal of money. We are pleased to think that some of the advice and help we gave helped some of these people achieve their success.
However, nothing ever stands still and the ecommerce market is no exception. Partly due to a change of emphasis by eBay and a general disillusionment from both buyers and sellers online auctions are not the opportunity they once were. Therefore although we still believe that eBay can have a part to play in some people’s online business plans they should be treat as a marketing tool and not as the main platform.
As a result of this we are increasing our coverage to include all aspects of online marketing designed to help those wishing to build their own online businesses. This will include selling on eBay, Amazon and other commercial sites, having your own website and the growing mobile market.
Look out for new categories appearing on the site as well as new contributors and features. However, one thing will not change is the fact that our main role remains to help you start and grow your own online business.
