Middlesbrough FC do their bit for Help The Heros
Tomorrow is Remembrance Sunday when the nation remembers the dead of both World Wars and the more recent and current conflicts. Middlesbrough Football Club are playing Crystal Palace today and the teams Cyan Blue away strip has a red
Poppy embroidered on it. These shirts will only be worn today and then they
will be signed by team members and offered for sale.
The shirt worn by the Clubs captain David Wheater’s is being offered for auction on eBay with the proceeds going to the “Help the Heros” campaign. The other shirts will also be sold to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
To view the auction for David Wheater’s shirt go to Item No 220506603732 on eBay.
At the time of writing this the bidding has reached £275. We hope it goes a lot higher for such a worthy cause.
