Important changes for sellers coming this Autumn on eBay.co.uk

Latest update from the eBay team, regarding a few changes we can expect soon.

You'll be aware of the continuing changes and improvements at eBay to ensure that your business can grow and be profitable:
* Introduced enhancements and functionality to help sell in volume
* Reduced the level of up-front costs.
* Given the greatest rewards to sellers that deliver the best service.
The final release of 2009 continues to focus on increasing efficiencies and profitability for sellers. You'll start to see these changes from the week commencing 22nd September.
1. Stepping up service standards
* New way to look at DSRs to measure the service that sellers deliver
* New minimum standards for all sellers
* Changes to the PowerSeller programme - introducing the eBay Top-rated status to recognise the best service with the highest rewards
* New Best Match considers impressions and recent sales for fixed price listings
* Discontinuing several features saves you money and keeps the focus on relevance
2. Easier & more profitable selling on eBay
* Unpaid Items - faster recourse and resolution
* eBay dispute resolution for buyer claims: seller update
* My Messages and post-transaction emails streamline buyer communication.
* Improved postage information more control over post-to locations; upload tracking for more carriers
* Faster ways to edit listings, even multi-quantity listings with a sale and listing descriptions plus you can do it all in bulk
3. Policy updates & other changes
* Attract more buyers - Free P&P extended to all media categories
* Update to ticket listings to drive more relevant buyers to your listing
* Optional buyer insurance no longer allowed
* Category changes now consolidated with the rest of updates
