First Channel Management Solution to Fully Integrate with Philanthropy Program
London, UK - June 13, 2006 - ChannelAdvisor, the leading provider of channel management solutions (CMS), today announced support for eBay Giving Works - a dedicated program for cause marketing on eBay. By supporting eBay Giving Works, ChannelAdvisor Merchant sellers will be able to donate part or all of the final sale price to their favourite non-profit organisation.
eBay and MissionFish have joined together to offer the Giving Works initiative. It allows sellers to build their business while supporting causes important to them, creating a mutually profitable outcome for the seller and charity. By supporting eBay Giving Works, ChannelAdvisor is giving large eBay sellers the opportunity to build a positive brand, customer loyalty and new traffic through campaigns while helping a charity gain much needed visibility.
“We are very happy to offer our sellers another competitive advantage in a challenging multi-channel retail environment,” says Jennifer Gibson, General Manager at ChannelAdvisor UK.
eBay sellers participating in the initiative receive a special Giving Works icon alongside listings which identifies them as authentic charity items as well as a ‘giving bar’ which shows prospective buyers how much of the sale price is being donated. eBay Giving Works items get more bids, are more likely to sell, and get higher final prices than regular eBay listings.
Sellers can opt-in to the eBay Giving Works program within the ChannelAdvisor Merchant and ChannelAdvisor Pro platforms. Features include:
· Flexibility to nominate single or thousands of listings with ease
· Choice of one of 20 preferred non-profit organisations or over 10,000 charities at MissionFish
· Ability to donate between 10 and 100% of the sale price to the non-profit of your choice
To learn more about eBay Giving Works and how to get started, ChannelAdvisor is offering an interactive webinar for customers and prospects that will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 7:00pm GMT. To sign up please visit:
